J. F. Keeping

J.F. Keeping has dreamed of being a writer ever since he was a child reading his sister's old anthologies of classic SF stories.

He has two stories in the Grantville Gazette (so far), and his work has also been published in Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine and the lamented Jim Baen's Universe.

He writes philosophy on SF-related themes as well, which can be found in the collections Watchmen and Philosophy, Spider-Man and Philosophy, and the upcoming Terry Pratchett and Philosophy. He works as a philosopher in the field of cognitive science, applying existential and phenomenological theory and method to the challenge of understanding the mind.

With his partner Kat, he also rescues orphaned kittens. His hobbies include writing and wishing he had more time for hobbies.
