Amanda Forrest

Amanda E Forrest lives with her husband and young daughter in the Colorado mountains. Before taking a hiatus to raise her daughter, she worked as a software engineer and manager in the video game industry.

Amanda's love of speculative fiction dates to her fourth year when her mother read her The Hobbit. She penned her first novella--"Venture to Venus", a gripping tale of a young girl's journey--in the third grade. Tragically, the last time she saw that manuscript, floppy disks were actually floppy.

Amanda is currently working on many short fiction projects as well as a full-length novel. You can visit her blog at www.AmandaEForrest.com.
