Brad Banner
I was born in raised in the small Texas town of Littlefield. I went to Texas A&M University for university and professional school. I graduated from there in 1983 as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. My late wife, Kathryn (who was also a veterinarian) and I bought a veterinary practice in Merkel, Texas in 1984. I've been here since then. When my wife was killed in an automobile accident, I became the single father of our 7-year old daughter. My daughter is now in the honors program majoring in biomedical science at Texas A&M. I'm very proud of her. I've been a voracious reader nearly all my life. Science fiction and fantasy are my favorites. I read the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov when I was in elementary school. I want to thank everyone at Baen's Bar for their kind help. Without them, I would not have been able to write fiction at all. They showed me how to use and hone my extremely rusty writing skills.
