Danel Nahon found Dora bent over stirring a pot of simmering vegetables. "Wife, my business now takes me to Zaborstadt, and we're going to move there."

Dora stopped stirring and turned around to face him, which he took as a good sign. At least she was going to listen. "What?" she asked while wiping her hands on her apron.

"Javier's business is growing and he's asked me to help him. I'll be overseeing . . .
